Akanoid
This shooting happened on March 4th, 2007 at the Landschaftspark Nord in Duisburg.

Akanoid's new stuff proves once again that the two Germans have multilateral talents: already known for their hypnotic grooves they now enrich their electronic sound much more with atmospheric melodies, emotional voices and accentuated guitars. The result is a unique mixture of modern Electro Pop with 80s reminiscences and danceable Indietronic rhythms.

Dead Guitars
Just in time for the release of their excellent first album Airplanes on June 1st 2007, Sparklingphotos is happy to present the pictures I took at my photoshooting with the Dead Guitars in January of 2007.

Dead Guitars are Carlo van Putten (The Convent, White Rose Transmission), Pete Brough (12 Drummers Drumming) and Ralf Aussem (12 Drummers Drumming). Their music is located somewhere in the wide fields between Wave and Rock where bands such as The Chameleons, The Mission and Coldplay come to mind, but the Dead Guitars are no knock-off, they are able to present a fresh new album without forgetting about their roots.

EGOamp
In April 2007 I did a photoshooting with EGOamp, a new project influenced my electronic music
and their love for silent movies like 'The cabinet of Dr Caligari' and others.

EGOamp is: asmodi caligari and cesare insomnia.

Most fittingly, the first song the two musicians recorded was a cover of the classic 'The Cabinet', originally recorded by the english band 'Das Kabinette' and the first tracks came to the attention of Chris Lietz, among others producer of german electronic pioneers 'Die Krupps' who decided right away to produce EGOamp's first album 'Welcome to the cabinet'.
